Hook 'em, baby!
This is my first attempt at a blog. As a media planner/buyer, I was thinking about all of the various media topics I could talk about. However, I thought it would be fun to talk about something else – football.
I am an avid football fan. As some of you know, I love the Texas Longhorns. I am eager for the 2010 season to begin, and I especially cannot wait to share my love of the sport with my son Nathan. He is only eight months old right now and his attention might not be focused on the TV screen for a full three to four hours, but being able to share some bonding time with him watching the Longhorns strive for another National Championship is something I look forward to.
I was never an athlete in school, and I do not expect my son to become one unless he wants to be. He might grow up not liking football at all. But this will be one of the many moments I cherish as a mom and can’t wait to share with him when he gets older.
