The George Polk Awards in journalism were presented Tuesday and one was given to the unknown person or people who recorded the death of Iranian protester Neda Agha-Soltan.

Pundits say this award marks a change in journalism. I’m not so sure. Journalism is the reporting of a story and THIS was a story. It struck a chord around the world.
What is different is the delivery. Dissemination no longer depends on the traditional channels of print and broadcast. Broadcasters and print outlets DID take the cell phone footage of a dying Agha-Soltan and spread it. They helped in the aggregation.
Ironic that traditional media was griping about aggregtagors like Google.
