Students at Fort Sam Houston Elementary School made this sign in appreciation for a donation by our client, Sundt Construction.
At KGBTexas .communications, we are lucky enough to work with clients that try to make a difference in their communities.
For example, last Friday, Sundt Construction donated a truckload of athletic equipment to the students at Fort Sam Houston Elementary School. Sundt is building the Warriors in Transition barracks project at Fort Sam Houston.
The team assigned to the project reached out to the school and met with students to discuss what their school needed the most. The students said they lacked sufficient athletic and safety gear for them to play and be active during recess and gym time. As a result, Sundt purchased dozens of basketballs, soccer and kickballs so all the students can play and share. They also provided safety pads for the goal posts and basket posts to prevent any injuries to the students.
To show their appreciation, the students created thank you letters and signs to present to Sundt at the donation ceremony. It was a touching gesture from the students. Sundt plans to pay another visit in the future to check on the students and see if they can help again.
It feels great to work with clients who care so much for their communities. Seeing the smiles on the students’ faces reminds us of the impact our clients can have.
