People talk about you now. But if you ignore social media, you won’t know when someone is saying something or what is being said. Just ask United Airlines.
Their failure to act gave musician Dave Carroll an opportunity to skewer the airline via YouTube. United doesn’t get an opportunity to respond unless a reporter gives them a call. With this context, the situation looks a little different. But not before millions of people have developed a negative impression of the airline.
